I am a PhD candidate at Western University in London, ON Canada who is interested in hyperpolarized non-proton metabolic imaging using MRI. My research interests include applying novel imaging methods in pregnancy to learn more about fetoplacental development. My goal is to continue a career in clinical medical physics focusing on radiation therapy, and continue to be involved in diagnostic imaging research. I am self-motivated, independent, and ready to learn.
I am passionate about my research and hope to continue being involved in diagnostic imaging research in my future career.
I tend to seek leadership opportunities in my work and personal life. An example of this is my role as Valedictorian for the McMaster Science Class of 2016.
I jump at the opportunity to be challenged and learn new skills. One of the most challenging things I have done is work as a tree planter in Northern Ontario.
One of my favourite things to do is travel! I love experiencing diverse places, learning about different cultures, and trying new food.
